The Adobe Max event is set to start on October 20th, 2020. The annual event that started in 2002 is about helping creatives, developers, and computer design learn how to best utilize Adobe’s new releases.

This year, the three-day event is going to be held completely digitally and will include 56 hours of free content.

You can expect demos of Adobe’s products in addition to insight regarding new features that have been added to Creative Cloud and Photoshop.

The event isn’t only going to be about learning but also about being creatively inspired. This year’s headline acts include world-renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz and comic book writer, actor, producer, and director Keanu Reeves. Another noteworthy headline act is Tyler the Creator, a musician, producer, and songwriter.

Participants who sign up early will be entered into a sweepstake to win an Adobe Max t-shirt and will be able to plan their schedules based on the more than 350 events that will be conducted by industry leaders. You can develop your schedules by filtering your sessions based on your interests. Adobe has 10 session categories spanning a variety of disciplines. These include categories like Creativity and Design in business, Education, Photography, Social Media, Business Productivity, Graphic Design, and video.

Additionally, by signing up early for the event you’ll gain access to instructor files and will be able to download presentations. You’ll also get to participate in the Meet The Teams segment of the event as well as engage with Adobe’s product experts during these segments.

10 Speakers To Watch on Adobe Max

Adobe has a list of headline speakers that they recommend you watch, but to ensure you’re able to make the most of your experience and learn from a variety of people, we’ve compiled a list of 10 speakers to watch on Adobe Max. It’s not easy to whittle it down to 10 as Adobe Max has over 400 speakers. But this diverse group of industry leaders will enable you to curate an Adobe Max schedule that is enlightening.

Shepard Fairey

Shepard Fairey is the artist behind the iconic mural “Hope” which depicted Barack Obama in 2008. He’s also the founder of the clothing brand OBEY. Some describe his art as graffiti-adjacent. However, his bold striking designs are his signature, and his insights into making, profiting, and spreading a message with his art will be enlightening.

Zach Braff

Best known for his role as intern John Dorian in Scrubs, Zach Braff is a prolific actor, writer, and director. His insight into what shapes a generation is most evident in the movie Garden State that Braff writes, directs, and acts.

ROYworld

ROYworld is a British pop-rock band. For aspiring artists learning from musicians as experienced and talented as the guys in ROYworld can help you take the next steps.

Noel Mack

As the chief brand officer of one of the most recognizable brands of this decade, Noel Mack’s speaking event at Adobe Max 2020 will be insightful for other brand owners and startups. Understand his creative process and what goes into creating a brand. Perhaps you can use those insights to develop your own.

Matthew McCartney (Ben & Jerry’s)

Ben & Jerry’s is a household name. Learn from the CEO who is trying to ensure that they remain on top even as their competitors increase. Expect to gain knowledge on managing a successful retailer during changing times.

Heather Pieske (Vox Media)

Vox is a modern media behemoth, and Heather Pieske is the executive brand director, helping vox stay on-top of – and create – the internet’s aesthetic.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Whether you love her or hate her, you can’t ignore GOOP. Gwyneth Paltrow’s foray into retail and media as a lifestyle brand has enabled her to grow GOOP to a $250 million evaluation. Her insights into how she’s enabled such rapid growth can help anyone with dreams of one day creating a household name.

Erik Spiekermann

Erik Spiekermann is the man behind your font, in the very least, some of them. However, his achievements extend his work as a typographer. He’s also a writer and designer, and some of his noticeable achievements include writing a book titled, “Stop Stealing Sheep” and creating custom fonts for The Economist and Mozilla.

Conan O’Brien

Possibly the funniest man on late night, Conan O’Brien combines his knowledge, quirks, and wit to engrain himself in his audience’s heart. He has been working in the industry for over 30 years, remaining relevant throughout that period, even after crossing over to a more obscure network.

Byron Phillipson

Byron Phillipson is Twitch’s first Executive Creator Director. For a rapidly expanding platform like Twitch, the role is challenging. He made the move over to Twitch in 2019, but his prior work experiences include working at Hulu as lead marketing creator and has started up some exciting creative brands.

Adobe is hosting 454 other speakers during the 56-hour duration of the event. You have so much choice. To ensure you have the best experience, start curating your list of must-watch speakers, so you know who you’re watching and what you want to learn from the experience.
